User Tips – Single Window Invoice Editing in Prodagio A/P
Prodagio A/P now allows the Business Administrator to configure both the invoice’s header and line-item information in the same window.
To configure Prodagio A/P and its Actions menu for editing headers and line-items in the same window using the Edit Invoice option, follow this procedure:
1. Login in with Business Administrator permissions.
2. Click the Administrator tab, then Menu Options, then Modify.
3. Select the User Role from the drop-down list.
4. In the Available Menu Options column, select Edit Invoice.
5. Move Edit Invoice to the Current Menu Options column.
6. Select Edit Invoice and move it up or down to the required position with the Up or Down buttons.
7. Click Save.
8. Repeat the above steps for each User Role needing the combined header and line-item window, saving after each.
Prodagio Contracts Ranked in Gartner MarketScope
We are delighted to announce Prodagio Contract’s debut ranking on the 2008 Gartner MarketScope for Contracts Management. This report highlights the top vendors in the contracts management application space. In a field of 24 entrants, only 13 were selected by Gartner as having met the criteria needed for inclusion.
Prodagio Contracts debuts in its first year on the list with strengths listed as:

Prodagio A/P Included in New Gartner Report
Prodagio A/P was covered in a new research paper by Gartner, released on December 11, 2008. The paper, entitled “Accounts Payable Invoice Automation” discusses how companies can augment their ERP AP processes to include more of the upfront business processes, including document and electronic transaction capture, workflow approval routing and analytics. User Tips – Reminders vs Obligations in Prodagio Case Management and Prodagio Contracts Management
Reminders and Obligations are task items that are frequently used in both Prodagio Contracts and Prodagio Case Management. Even though both Reminders and Obligations send emails and both can be viewed as items in the My Tasks View, Reminders and Obligations each serve a different functional purpose.
A Reminder is an informal notice that requires no contractual or legal action, where an Obligation on the other hand is a notice that does require some kind of contractual or legal action.
The following list compares the functional similarities and differences between Reminders and Obligations.
Reminders
• Include Automated Reminders (set up by a BA).
• Priority can not be set.
• Due Date is not required.
• Can not be part of a series.
• Notification date specifies when an email notification will be sent.
• Can be set to recur weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.
• Predefined action can be selected from a drop-down selection list.
• Special instructions can be added.
• Comments can be added only when closing a reminder.
• Esignature is not required to close.
• Status categories include Scheduled, Open, and Completed.
• E-mail sent to each recipient or group with action named in the subject line.
• Can be added to Outlook Calendar.
• Instructions, Comments, and Task and Dashboard link included in e-mail.
Obligations
• Include both Financial and Non-Financial Obligations.
• Priority of high is automatically set.
• Due Date is required.
• Can be part of a series.
• Notification date specifies when an email notification will be sent.
• Can be set to recur weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.
• Predefined action not available.
• Special instructions can be added.
• Comments can be added when creating a new obligation.
• Esignature is required to close.
• Status categories include Scheduled, Open, Completed, and Deleted.
• E-mail sent to each recipient or group.
• Can be added to Outlook Calendar.
• Instructions, Comments, and Task and Dashboard link included in e-mail.
